Publication Date: July 8th, 2014
Publisher: HarperTeen

Summary from Goodreads: You take it for granted. Waking up. Going to school, talking to your friends. Watching a show on television or reading a book or going out to lunch.

You take for granted going to sleep at night, getting up the next day, and remembering everything that happened to you before you closed your eyes.

You live and you remember.

Me, I live and I forget.

But now—now I am remembering.

For all of her seventeen years, Molly feels like she’s missed bits and pieces of her life. Now, she’s figuring out why. Now, she’s remembering her own secrets. And in doing so, Molly uncovers the separate life she seems to have led…and the love that she can’t let go.

The Half Life of Molly Pierce is a suspenseful, evocative psychological mystery about uncovering the secrets of our pasts, facing the unknowns of our futures, and accepting our whole selves.

1) THAT SYNOPSIS, YO. Oh so vague and oh so enticing at the same time. Way to kill us with the anticipation, Katrina Leno and Harper Teen ;)

2) PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER. Woah. Woah. stop right there. Did someone say psychological thriller?? UM.. YES PLEASE! My guilty pleasures are psychological thrillers, and although they scare the heeby-jeebies outta me, I still read them XD

3) COVER. Two words. COVER. LOVE. Spooky, dreamy, foreboding. I love it. Tis iz purrfection.

Final Verdict?

I mean, I don't know how I'm going to get The Half Life of Molly Pierce in my possession, but rest assured that I will do everything in my power to make sure it happens :)

What are y'all waiting on this Wednesday?

  1. I have such high expectations for this book. It sounds AMAZING (and it better be!). It had me at psychological thriller. Because, seriously, you can't NOT love them.

    1. Seriously!! I end up scared out of my mind, but in a good way ;)
